Located 5km from the medieval city of St Yrieix la Perche, in the heart of beautiful countryside 30 mins from A20. Le Tulipier de la Serre chambre d'hôte is a restored old farmhouse. The family room ( two adults and one/two children) on the first floor offers a super kingsize bed and a futon sofa bed and private ensuite facilities. The room is large and airy and has cotton bedding, Egyptian cotton towels and toiletries are provided. Continental breakfast, with home made bread, is served in your room or on the terrace. You are welcome to enjoy the garden and patio and use the BBQ. We have been awarded "chambre d'hôte référence" standard.

My husband and I retired from our hectic lives in the UK 8 years ago and are now enjoying rural France with all it has to offer. Renovations to the house over the last 8 years have made it the homely and spacious place it is today. The creation of a large vegetable patch and chicken coop were a priority. Delicious organic produce and eggs every day have become the first step towards more sustainable living. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and new way of life.

St Yrieix la Perche is a thriving town with many restaurants and bars. There is a wonderful market on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. There are many other markets, spectacular chateaux, vide greniers and rustic restaurants to visit close by. The roads are quiet, cycling is safe. We can recommend many walking routes.
