Le Mas du Tes is an old typical Cévennes mas, renovated in the respect of tradition for 4 years, associated with a touch of modernity. It is located in a hamlet located on the southern slope of the first reliefs of the Cévennes, surrounded by forests and garrigue. Calm, just 10 km from Anduze or Alès (all amenities). Le Mas du Tes is near the river, less than 1 km by a hiking trail, and several marked hiking trails. The site is also popular with cyclists. Located in the Cévennes National Park, classified as a Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO) and an International Starry Sky Reserve, the Mas du Tes welcomes you with ease in unspoiled nature (olive trees, holm oaks, pines, chestnuts, wild lavender, thyme , heather ...) and fragrant !
Originally from the site for one and adopted for the other (with the delicious impression of always being "on vacation"), we are committed to creating the conditions of reception and rejuvenating stay, to make discover the Gard and the Cévennes, starting with the authentic habitat in a little corner of paradise !
In less than 15 minutes by car: La Bambouserie en Cévennes (an exceptional garden created by an enthusiast 160 years ago), the Cévennes Steam Train, to discover hidden landscapes, Anduze, its Provencal and night markets, its famous pottery, its history, its guided tours ...
