The loft of the Chateau du Roi, is located in the heart of historical Cahors in an historical building. You can park nearby to unload your belongings and I have a car park a few minutes walk away. My loft of 64 square meters on the 3rd floor (without lift) is bathed in light. You will appreciate its large living space and its room with its glass roof workshop. With 3 beds, including 1 bed 140 * 200 cm in the room, 1 sofa BZ on the mezzanine and 1 sofa bed in the living room, my loft is ideal for 2 to 4 people. Guests can enjoy the shared terrace.
Hello, Welcome, my name is Stéphane and i am sure you will enjoy Cahors and my Loft. Cadurcien of origin, although often distant by my professional occupations, I remain very attached to this city rich in history and this region of Lot very nature. I am sure you will be seduced by the charm of this building which parts are from the 12th century. I will do my best to book you the best welcome. I am listening to you and waiting for your suggestions. Even if you arrive very late, do not panic thanks to the independent access. We will then come to welcome you and advise you. For your hobbies and evenings you get a WiFi access and Netflix. Do you like nature activities? You will be spoiled for choice: Kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, caving, tree climbing ... For your children in summer enjoy Cahors beach but also the leisure base of the archipelago. Enjoy local gastronomy, nut cake, walnut wine and Cahors wine. Go swimming at Lake Montcuq or Catus in summer. You will definitely come back, as there are things to do and activities.
Travel in the past is guaranteed! Wander around the small hidden gardens (that of the witch is next door), discover the Valentré bridge, the Chartreux fountain, the cathedral. The rue du Château Du Roi was once the main artery of the city. Many projects are underway in this quiet street for the happiness of tourists and Cadurcians. Discover the remains of the Roman baths or the old Gallo-Roman theater. Stroll on the boulevard in the evening. Go to the new cinema multiplex downtown. Go up to Mont Saint-Cirq or La Croix Magne to admire from above Cahors surrounded by its loop. Take a cruise on the Lot. Visit Saint-Cirq Lapopie, but also Cabrerets, its unique Merle Fishing cave, admire its Devil's Castle built in the rock. Go to meet the Pterosaurs in Crayssac. Explore the Phosphatière du Cloup d'Aural in Bach. Stroll through the causses in search of the famous gariottes and truffled oaks. Admire the immensity of the Milky Way and its innumerable stars in the black triangle, the sky the most the most beautiful sky in France and among the most extraordinary in the world.
