The pool was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a Sunday but we were still shocked at the lack of services. No food on sight, no ICE in the machine.

Only visited for one night before returning to UK.
Only visited for one night before returning to UK. From what we saw of it it seemed a lovey place. Had a walk to the beach and ate out on the evening. Hope to return one day and spend a little more time there.

We researched many hotels in the area and this one was seemed to be the best for the value. Once we arrived we were very happy and satisfied. It's a simple place but very clean and comfortable with a nice continental breakfast. The best thing was the staff! So very nice and helpful with everything! I highly recommend this hotel! Would definitely return!

Very nice old town.
Very nice old town. It is really like a small Venice in Provence. Colorful streets and shops. Each house has a different shade of pastel colors. Boats in canal looked like from the paintings. Recommended for visit if you get close to Marseille.

Martigues is a small, characteristic town embedded between the Mediterranean and a lake: Etang de Berre. A canal connecting the two is running through the town. There is a harbour with pleasure boats. Town is friendly and inviting for a city walk. There are stores and restaurants.
The nearby coast is beautiful and there is a lot to see if you’re willing to drive 1-1,5h by car.

Very confusing getting around Martigues in the car.
Very confusing getting around Martigues in the car. Even in late October, we found the car parks full. It was very busy, probably due to start of half term & a lot of restaurants were closed because of covid. However, we found a take-away pizza place called Net Porter which was very good.
We enjoyed the central location of this personally managed hotel. The room was small, very clean and adequate for a one night stay. A large bed and a modern bathroom with good shower. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking at the rear of the hotel needs to be pre-booked as there are only approximately 10 spaces.
Brilliant stay, super friendly staff. Frederick was more than forthcoming, he even went out of his way to help drive me and my baggage to my final work destination. A very nice hotel, easy to acces at any time of day via a card entry system. Very local to martigues, next door to a shop and many restaurants around. Perfect also if you like cats!
New and very clean structure.
the position is very convenient to reach Martigues.
unfortunately restaurants in the close vicinity (I.e. walking distance) are not really worth.
Nearby the hotel the location offers several trails/paths for excellent workout/jogging/sightseeing/summer beaches.

The hotel is in a perfect location and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was comfortable until evening fell. Unfortunately they neglected to tell us there would be road work right in front of the building ALL night long!!!
The Check in staff was great , the hotel location was convenient, the property is either new or well maintained (all in all great). The Restaurant was excellent (surprise) , great view and food was top notch quality.
Room was functional, bed was comfortable. Tea and Coffee making facilities. Room bigger than other hotels of same standard. Breakfast was basic, although what was on offer was of good quality. No real complaints.
The facility is located in the Historic Part of Martigues, on the island. It is trimmed with real French charm. From there we visited all the interesting cities in Provence.
Room had, Tv, tea and coffee facilites. bed was comfortable, small desk to work from. Overall it's what you expect from a hotel of this level. Friendly and helpful staff.
Absolutely wonderful host couple. Super accommodating. Beautiful house and property. Quiet country setting 10 minutes from Martigues. Good for exploring the Camargue.
It is located in Martigues and was very convenient for us as we were meeting friends and it was easy to visit with them and as well as attend the wedding.
