Having travelled widely, the Morley's dream of moving to France and creating a stylish home and holiday business has become a reality in the beautiful Lot & Garonne. Juliet worked in London as a fashion designer for over 20 years and was head of womenswear at Mulberry. Her design eye is everywhere and some of her needlework is for sale. She is also a very keen cook. Deane is an avid gardener responsible for the wonderful outdoor spaces here. They live in the main house with their cat and two small dogs. ''We like nothing better than hearing happy, laughing voices of people enjoying themselves on holiday''.

A glamorous blend of French country chic interiors with the best elements of self catering i.e. spacious, private accommodation and freedom to cook for yourselves, and the style, luxury and optional additional services of a boutique hotel such as bathrobes, slippers, champagne, flowers etc. Lovingly restored by its owners, designers Juliet and Deane, and their team of local artisans, this grand 18th century former barn and pigeon tower is now home to four luxury self catering suites with one or two or three bedrooms a piece, fully equipped modern kitchens and their own private outdoor terraces. Each suite is stylishly decorated with an eclectic mix of modern, antique and traditional style furniture, attractive soft furnishings, antique mirrors and crystal chandeliers, and painted in cool restful colours. The icing on the cake is the wonderful setting on an 8-acre country house estate complete with parkland, fields and orchards, plus a glistening 12 × 6 m heated swimming pool with truly fabulous views over the surrounding countryside Despite their 18th century character, each has plentiful supplies of contemporary fixtures and fittings too. It's a 5-minute drive (25-40 on foot) to 13th-century Ste Livrade sur Lot with its boulangeries, shops and Friday market, and 10 minutes to the fine waterlily gardens of Latour Marliac. For water sports head for the lakes and Lot river beaches. Cycling and walking trails are nearby; Buzet and Duras vineyards are within half an hour. Visit the bustling market in our local village every Friday morning all year round. There's a Sunday market at Pujols, one of the 'Plus Beaux Village de France' 15 minutes drive away. The organic market at Villeneuve is also well worth a visiting. Local activities are plentiful for all ages including bike hire, horse riding, petting farms, amusement parks, monkey walking in the treetops, walking + rambling, wine tourism + sightseeing around the numerous hill top bastide towns, chateaux and churches. Fantastic gourmet night markets with entertainment almost every night in July/August in the neighboring villages where you can choose from the various hot + cold food stalls, wine sellers + desserts and settle at the trestle tables among the locals. There are some fantastic restaurants too including our favorite, Au Bord de La Source 5 minutes by car.
