Amazing secluded location walking distance to the coast. Beautifully renovated stone building with quaint gardens full of birds, bumble bees and visiting hare. Tastefully decorated interior inspired by circular economy and waste minimisation. Felt like home.

Hearty and comfortable 4* eco-renovated self-catering cottage of 82 m² a few steps away from the GR 34 nature trail between the Fort de Bertheaume and the Pointe Saint-Mathieu, in Plougonvelin, Pays d’Iroise. After a complete restoration in 2018, La Grange Neuve has made over a beauty to accommodate 4 persons, for holidays, a week-end for any other short period of time, whatever the season. The choice of coverings, furniture, paintings was the focus of our attention to create a friendly and timeless atmosphere, somewhat vintage, but all charming. The Grange Neuve, whose decoration can evolve with the seasons and our discoveries, reveals our true affection for the place, and the immense pleasure taken to arrange it. To the few antique furniture and family souvenirs, are mixed a series of objects for which we have pushed the doors of the decoration and antique shops of the region; we have also patiently searched for some covetable pieces and acquired other favourite items on our visits to yard sales and flea markets. We have had a lot of fun thinking and furnishing La Grange Neuve, and today we are happy to welcome you here.
In 2017, when we moved back to the family farm of Poulherbet where I grew up, Dominique and I made the choice to write our own page of our family home history and set ourselves the task of refurbishing the old barn, La Grange Neuve. Our plan was to continue the rehabilitation work initiated by our parents, whose last major phase was a complete restoration of the old stable in 1996 and turn it into a nice little house.
Pays d’Iroise, the most westerly part of Finistère in Brittany is packed with things to do and see. Whether you like going for a seaside walk, go to the discovery of marine mammals and birds of the Sea d’Iroise, take a boat trip to an island, laze around on the beach, practice nautical sport, hike, bike or visit places of cultural, historical, natural and religious interests, you are in the right place
