Loft mon Soleil is a fully furnished loft space in the heart of the Vosges mountain range. It is located in the beautiful early century Villa mon Soleil in Le Hohwald which is the perfect base camp to relax and explore the region. Our space offers a modern athmosphere and high quality amenities, keeping in mind the traditional mountain flair of the region.

Our family has a long history in Le Hohwald and I personally went there every summer as a kid to play in the forest and enjoy nature. Therefor it is a pleasure for me to share this space with our guests and to make you feel at home everytime you come to visit. I manage this property with my dad and we both work in the entertainment industry. My dad as pianist and composer and I as a media consultant. We both love to travel and have had the chance to do so quite extensively. This is why we want to share our love of people and culture with all people visiting our region. Situated 40 km south-west from Strasbourg, European capital and cultural hotspot of the region, Le Hohwald has an impressing history. Once known for its forest and woodworkers who helped build Strasbourg it became a holiday hotspot for european nobility and cultural elite during the late XIXth century. Some of the regulars where Queens Wilhemina and Juliana of the Netherlands, Marshal Joffre, poets and writers Anatole France, Edouard Schuré and many others. During WWII, almost all of the buildings in Le Hohwald where requisitioned by Strasbourgs hospitals to house and heal the war-wounded.
