Above all, Eunice and Edwin were amazing hosts. Their personal connection, along with the unique setting made for an unforgetable visit. The grotto connected to the room is at first an impressive natural site and then increasingly enchanting as you experience their hospitality. Edwin goes out of his way at breakfast, bringing your favorite baked goods still warm from an organic bakery as well as other personal requests. The property currently has a rustic charm as Eunice and Edwin continue to work their magic. For those intersted in Rhone wines, Edwin is a font of knowledge. The property is also very conveniently situated to explore the beautilful villages with many sites less than 20 minutes away.

Bacchus Grotto was very inviting. Nice private stay in an authentic grotto. Edwin & Eunice were very attentive and just enjoyable people to get to know. They have put their hearts into the property and you can tell. Especially loved enjoying a glass of local wine looking at the sunset. Edwin was very knowledgeable about local wine and they prepared us a wonderful meal perfect after a day of local wine tasting.

The room is beautiful and modern. It has an incredible view over Cairanne and all the vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were so welcoming and kind. They are experts in wine and hospitality. I cannot recommend this property enough. We did not want to leave but did so with warm hearts.

This is perhaps the most unique b&b we have ever stayed at! From your room, you have access to a wonderfully atmospheric sitting and breakfast area inside a cave, where you can enjoy a glass of local wine and just relax. The village is lovely, the view from the property and from the plunge pool are breathtaking, the breakfast was heavenly (our best omelette ever!), but what really made our stay so unique were the most welcoming and inspiring hosts you can imagine! The work they have put into this place is beyond amazing. Thank you so much for this most memorable stay and experience!

This was a wonderful place to stay. In all honesty we chose it as it was a convenient location to break up a long drive so i didnt quite know what to expect but it was abolutely lovely and a major highlight of our trip. The hosts Edwin and Eunice are renovating a beautiful old french building in the countryside and have a delightful room for guests plus plunge pool and sunbathing / outside area with amazing views. Definitely go for the table d'hote served in their wonderful wine cave / grotto - it was delicious and Edwin and Eunice were wonderful hosts and cooks. breakfast was also fantastic and i was taken to the local domaine by Edwin (at my request) to buy some of the excellent wine I had drunk the night before. Finally a very thoughtful and kind memento on departure just made this totally a wonderful stay.
