"Sleeping in the artist's house", an immersive experience full of art. KelDomènech Apartment - Bed&Art, is an apartment where guests can live the real experience of sleeping among works of art. Kel Domènech's works explore colour, textures and eras, reflecting on the past, future, technique, art and theory, in the purest state of eclecticism. Each work is born from an idea or concept to explain that, starting from an old piece, evolves designing and building the remaining parts until defining the final sculpture. KelDomènech Apartment - Bed&Art is characterized by abstract art with a classical ensemble, that is, classicism touched by abstraction. A creative and artistic space where guests will not only be able to live an aesthetic and sensory experience, but will also be able to purchase the exhibited works. KelDomènech Apartment - Bed&Art, is not only an apartment, but also an art gallery where guests can request a guided tour by the artist himself. The tourist tax is not included in the price (law 5/2017, of March 28).
In 1492, after the expulsion of the Jews, they were recruited in the call, in the area where the Christians had the oven. It is for this reason that the Christians ask for the right to build a new oven, to do so, they take advantage of the 14th century arch of the current KelDomenèch Apartment to build the oven and that is how the street becomes known as “Carrer del Forn”. If you look closely, you can still see the smoke burns on the stones from when you opened the door and the smoke escaped through it. Besalú has bus connections with the main nearby cities such as Girona, Figueres, Olot and Banyoles. - The closest train stations are Girona, Figueres and Ripoll. - Girona airport is 35 min away by car.
