Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Looking for a real get away, away from traffic, noise, pollution and stress? Instead wake up in this enchanting home in the middle of the El Hierro. The local traffic are the occasional sheep herd going past, hikers or someone passing by on horse back. This cosy home offers a living area of 190m2 with two double rooms, one triple room, two bathrooms, large kitchen & dining space, a grand living room with piano & views across to the sea.
Hello and welcome to our little piece of paradise situated in the Canary Islands, Atlantic Ocean. To the west of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, El Hierro is the furthest west and South that you can go within Europe, and it’s here I decided to call this place my home. Having lived in the UK, Ireland, France and Fuerteventura, I find El Hierro offers a little bit of each of these destinations. The greenery of France, the friendliness of the Irish, the temperatures of Fuerteventura and history and heritage of the UK. I have two grown up sons, one living in Australia and the other in the UK, so like you, I love to travel. I also enjoy hosting my home for holidays which I have done with my other past homes since 2008. This is why the house is really a home from home here. Enjoy!
San Andres in El Hierro - Neighbours are the best and are warm and friendly, you will find many local walks on your doorstep which go through the village and onto surrounding countryside. There is local bus that picks up passengers at the airport or ferry port and will be being you to San Andres. From the bus stop, the house can be reached by a five minute walk. Bicycle, walking or driving are all ways to get snout, but if you do not have access to a car and enjoy hiking, then there are lots of walks accessible from the property. Within the village there is a supermarket, three bar/restaurants, clothes shop and hardware store. For more commerce, this can be found at other villages via the local bus.
