Next to the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen-Bornemisza Museums, the CaixaForum, the Circulo de Bellas Artes, Cibeles, Plaza Mayor and Sol. El Barrio de las Letras is named so in tribute to the great writers such as Cervantes, Quevedo or Lope de Vega, who inhabited the streets during the Golden Age. The charm of its pedestrian streets as well as many shops and restaurants make it particularly lively, yet elegant and without excessive noise. The building is the late 19th Century but renovated. Recently reformed, it opens as tourist accommodation. The apartment has two bedrooms, one of them in suite with bathroom with bath, and another bedroom next to bathroom with shower. Full kitchen and a spacious living room. Full equipped. It is quiet, comfortable and elegant. The sofa opens as a 1.30m bed easily (available upon request) The apartment offers coffee maker and capsules, kettle, tea, Cola Cao, juices, milk, sugar, biscuits and some sweets ... everything you need for a good breakfast!! Also to prepare something to eat, we offer monodosis of olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper... The building counts with a doorman from 9 to 14 and from 17 to 20h during weekdays.

El Barrio de las Letras is named in tribute to the great writers who inhabited the streets in the Golden Age. Cervantes, Quevedo or Lope de Vega passed through this area between the Paseo del Prado and Plaza Santa Ana -one of the most popular squares of Madrid- by the charm of its pedestrian streets and many shops and restaurants that make it particularly lively on weekends. From the Plaza de Santa Ana, famous for its terraces and tapas bars, to the Paseo del Prado and famous streets such as Huertas, whose cobblestones carry engraved quotations from great writers in Castilian.
