Our house is situated on the rambla, a dry river bed, surrounded by olive and orange groves. We are in a great position for walking and cycling or just relaxing and enjoying the peace and beauty of this area. There's plenty of wildlife including eagles, ibex and wild boars. The apartment is the top floor of our 200 year old cortijo.
We have lived in Spain for almost 2 years, having moved from Kent, England with our dog Muffin. We live downstairs in the house so will be around to help with anything but we won't be an intrusion on your stay.
Although our house sits on it's own by the rambla we have English and Spanish neighbours nearby. There is a small very friendly Spanish bar approx 3km along the rambla which sells tapas and has recently opened a small shop which sells basic supplies. The town of Albox is approx 10 minutes drive where you will find all shops, bars, restaurants and medical centre. The smaller town of Oria is 10 minutes in the opposite direction. A car is essential.
