South of Santa Cruz de La Palma, on the slope of the Cumbre, nestles the municipality of Breña Alta, one of the most privileged residential areas on the east side. Lush gardens and palm trees characterize the landscape. Our Casa Rural El Brezal used to be the home of the manager of the estate, which covers more than 90,000 m² and is now home to organic avocado trees and organic coffee. The old farmhouse is built in the typical island style with original Canarian wooden ceilings. The access road has a lockable gate and leads to a large forecourt where you can park next to the house. From here you reach the cosy living room with a window, sofa, TV and fireplace. To the left and right of it are the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and fitted wardrobe, the other with two single beds and a wardrobe. From the living room, via steps, you reach the furnished kitchen, which is equipped with refrigerator, hotplate, toaster, microwave, espresso machine, glasses, crockery and a wooden table. From the kitchen you have access to a huge terrace (approx. 55 sqm) with a fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean, sun loungers and barbecue.

"Holiday among friends" is our motto and therefore we would like to introduce ourselves at this point: The first contact for you and responsible for handling the reservations is the older son of Ana and Eugenio, the owners of the house, Eugenio Manuel - Manu for short. He will be the one to greet you upon your arrival. During your stay you can "torture" Manu with your questions in Spanish, English and German.

Our Casa Rural El Brezal is a small and personal guest house near San Pedro. The town is the centre of the cigar production and there are several workshops where the "puros" are turned by hand. San Pedro has an original plaza with kiosk, bar and shops. Below the main street is one of the oldest churches on the island, the parish church of San Pedro Apostol.
