In the vicinity you have the small but beautiful Playa del Burrero in the east coast of Gran Canaria is one of the more versatile of the less well-known town beaches. The fact that it is separated into bathing zones and water sports zones goes down well with visitors. It is equipped with numerous wooden platforms, where you can lie much more comfortably than on the other stony beaches on Gran Canaria. What's more?, Playa del Burrero is really easy to find: you just follow the signs to the village of Carrizal and El Burrero. And if you happen to be taking off from the airport on your way home that evening, you can spend a wonderful beach day here, as El Burrero is less than 10 minutes drive from Las Palmas Airport.
