Situated below Castillo de Comares within the dramatic and charming white village of Comares, this unique self-contained studio is perfect for business travellers and tourists. Just 1 hour from the city of Malaga, this picturesque village is set 702 metres above sea level and boasts 360-degree panoramic views across the northern mountains down to the coast. The studio is ideally located allowing you to enjoy easy access to restaurants and shops, as well as cycling, walking and hiking routes. NOTE: The winter months can be cool up in the mountains. We provide heating, warm duvet and extra blankets but recommend you bring pajamas and slipper socks for increased comfort during your stay.
Your hosts are award-winning British photographer Gary Browne and artist Hayley (Mousey) Browne. We are happy to help with any plans for touring the area and also to give advice and tips on our specialities. We live in the house above the studio, with a completely independent entrance. We are always available if guests need anything, but guests have complete privacy and independence.
The studio is below Castillo de Comares on a quiet pedestrianised street, roughly 100 meters from the main plaza with it's bars and restaurants. Free parking is available below the main Plaza or in the nearest car park located at the bottom of Calle Penantona. Everything is within short easy walking distance but there are some steep paths. The studio is ideally located allowing you to enjoy easy access to restaurants and shops, as well as cycling, walking and hiking routes. Follow the ceramic footprints located just outside the studio door which will guide you through the narrow Moorish streets, passing historic buildings and captivating viewpoints.
