Jungle Roots experiments with and promotes ecological and environmentally friendly ideas and brings them to life to make toursim more sustainable and minimizing the impacting on the nature. Current and future projects includes: recollecting and reusing rainwater, dry composting ecological bathrooms, reforesting and replanting with native plants and trees, reusing and recycling both natural and man-made materials, working closely with local people and associations that share our objectives.

Jungle Roots is the perfect base to access Laguna Azul and many other sites such as waterfalls, caves, jungle, local communities etc. We organize adventure tours such as kayak, rafting and trekking in then jungle, bike rental and tours are available on site and we can provide you with all the information to help you organize your stay. The place is well-connected by local bus from Tena, easily accessible by car, taxi or bus and free parking is available on premises.

Jungle Roots is surrounded by nature of Amazonian jungle, you can enjoy a dip in the nearby river, walks in the surrounding areas or rent a bike for a day to explore the area on your own speed. We are located on the way to Laguna Azul and Pimpilala Waterfalls as well as nearby Kichwa communities that organize Community Tourism that our guests can visit by local bus.
