RIVER SKJERN: The salmon fishing season starts from April 16 to October 15. The Skjern River is the fourth longest river in Denmark, where the beginning begins in the thickets of Tinnet Krat, just 100m from the source of Denmark's largest river Guden. The Skjern River ends its course in the Ringkobing fjord. The river is 95 km long. In 2021, 1502 salmon were caught in the Skjern River. Below you can see the salmon catch report in 2021, which also indicates that our accommodation option is located only 1km from Borris Krog Bro where the largest number of salmon was caught.
