The holiday homes are located by the cosy sailing harbour and just 500 metres from the centre of the town, which also offers numerous exciting galleries and museums as well as plenty of good specialist shops. Assens is surrounded by attractive hilly countryside with fields, woods and splendid views over the Lillebelt Strait, and the surrounding area is home to many unique natural sights, tourist attractions and leisure opportunities. Around 15 kilometres southeast of the town, you will find the Helnaes archipelago, an area renowned for its unique, unspoiled countryside, clear water and attractive bathing beaches. Ten kilometres north of Assens is the attractive cape of Sandager Næs, an ideal destination for those who enjoy fishing, hiking, cycling or simply enjoying the countryside in peaceful surroundings.
