Our accommodations both boast impressive mountain views, are fully equipped so that you lack nothing during your stay, the beds (Top quality box spring) are made, there are plenty of hand and bath towels, coffee (Nespresso), tea, sugar, coffee milk and some tasty biscuits are provided. You start your holiday completely carefree. The Tiny house is even equipped with air conditioning and underfloor heating. The Tiny house also has a beautiful private sun terrace with a fireplace. The holiday flat is also equipped with a Dishwasher (even dishwasher tablets are provided) and a large fridge/freezer. Both have most German and Dutch channels on the TV via satellite. In the neighbouring village of Adorf (6 km) you will find 2 supermarkets. From Heringhausen you can reach, via always beautiful routes,s many characteristic villages and sights, such as the Hanseatic city of Korbach (19km), the baroque town of Bad Arolsen (20km) and the "winter sports towns" Willingen (14km) and Winterberg (35km), both of which are known not only for winter sports but especially for their many restaurants and extensive entertainment centres. A well-thought-out network of cycling and hiking trails offers outdoor enthusiasts, even without much planning, direct access to a unique Sauerland nature experience. In summer, in addition to the Diemelsee beaches, water lovers can also look forward to the many opportunities for angling, diving and boating, or perhaps a relaxing cruise on Lake Diemel. Just a 2-minute walk to the beautiful Diemelsee and there is plenty to do. According to our guests, a perfect place for a carefree holiday. Yet more active, our accommodation is also located directly on the Diemelsee the famous hiking trail (Der Diemelsteig). The host is always willing to take you to a starting point of the Diemelsteig and pick you up again at the end of your hike (for a small fee).
