Only 15 minutes from the historical old capital of Veliko Tarnovo and a 20 minutes beautiful drive from the E85 route you will find us here at Sunflower Guest House. As you enter the grounds of the property you will see our BBQ area and sunbeds, which are free of charge to our guests. These are conveniently located in a section of the garden directly outside all four units with a seating area which is prettily lit in the evenings. To the left of the garden is our covered outdoor lounge. Here there is comfortable seating for you to enjoy the evenings reminiscing of your time enjoying the surrounding area. It even holds a pool table, darts board, football table and mini table tennis table. We also offer an above ground pool for cooling off during the long hot summer days. Our four units are tastefully furnished each in a different style with touches of luxury. Our cozy guest house is run by myself Bev and hubby Graeme both in our mid-fifties and loving our life. We are originally from the North of England working as regional managers for prestige motor manufacturers. Sixteen years ago we made a daring move to India where we bought villas and hotel apartments which we rented to visitors from all over the world. Ten years on, we decided it was time for a new adventure and spent lots of time researching for the correct location which could offer everything that were looking for:- Beautiful countryside yet near to a town with history, restaurants and shops. We certainly think we have found it here in our little village only a short drive to the old capital of Bulgaria, Veliko Tarnovo. Wow. So much to do whilst at Sunflower Guest House. We have historical Veliko Tarnovo with its museums, shops, cobbled streets and restaurants plus - Horse Riding, Quad Bike/ATV off road safari, Tsarevgrad Fort and its night light show, the Park of Miniatures, Nicopolis ad Istrun all of which are local to us. A little further afield you can visit Dryanovo Monastery with its eco river walk and local caves, Etara ethnographic village, Tryavana village and so much more !
