I've been living in Bankya for 15 years and every time when I return from a trip, I discover again how beautiful and peaceful is this place. Bankya is a unique place, not only it is a source of mineral water, but also by the fresh clean air thanks to the near mountains. Bankya is one of three European resort / Baden-Baden and Karlovy Vary, with the greatest density of ozone in the air. The most famous sanatoria in Bulgaria are located here. The proximity of Bankya town to the capital Sofia makes it possible to combine rest and business. The Guest House is located near main international road crossing the border with Serbia near Kalotina, making it perfectly suitable for passing turists. Local people from the capital do not need to travel far to find rest in nature during the weeekends- only after few minutes they can enjoy peace, tranquility, clean air and beautiful scenry.

I am retired 62 years old. I love working in the garden, to grow flowers, fruits and vegetables. I have a small greenhouse, which enables me to engage with my favourite hobby. The house is located near the woods, which is a great advantage, because I like hiking in my free time. I enjoy nature: Lyulin mountain is extremely rich in herbs, berries and wild mushrooms. I collect them and prepare various herbal teas and delicious meals. I felt the beneficial influence of nature and healthy lifestyle on myself after I recovered fully from an ischemic stroke and heart failure. Our neighborhood is the most tranquil place in the town Bankya, because the street "Zahari Stoyanov" ends in the wood. There are no noisy bars and entertainment. The forest starts near the house with routes to Klisurski and Divotino monastries. There is a new spa centre in our neighborhood with a swimming pool with mineral water - sanatorium "Health", next to the tennis court. In the renovated center of Bankya there is a park with a fountain of mineral water, an outdoor swimming pool with a beach and different restaurants. The populair "Path of health" is also here, an excellent place for hiking.
