Welcome to the luxury Ailyak Chalet (Айляк Хижа) – a peaceful and spacious 2015 built wooden house with 2 bedrooms located on the outskirts of the village of Raduil, just 6km from the Borovets ski resort. You’ll love the house because of the coziness, comfortable beds, the high ceilings, the views, the wood fired hot tub, the Wi-Fi and the great location only 5 minutes walk into village center for the restaurant. It is the perfect place either for a relaxing or adventurous holiday.
Property owner Matthew is from England, who lived in New Zealand & UK for past 20 years and has travelled to many countries around the world, from Fiji to Honolulu, across all the States, to Istanbul, and much of Europe. Host Lyubomir (Lyubo), is the property manager based in Raduil village (and he also runs the fantastic Duvaro Restaurant in the centre by the MiG-21 fighter jet). He welcomes & looks after the guests during their stay.
The village of Raduil is located 18 km souteast of the town of Samokov, 80 km east of Sofia and 12 km west of the resort Borovets, with a population of approximately 1,100 people. It is picturesque traditional Bulgarian village, with the main road winding through the village and over the Maritsa river. Being close to the ski resort of Borovets does mean it is a highly popular holiday home destination. Raduil is quite a distinctive village. When you pass through the centre you will see an old MiG-21 fighter jet plane and tank - remnants from the communist regime. In the village centre are several good restaurants, and a convenience store.
