Mt Barker is the second largest growing district in South Australia. Frostwood House is 4 kms away to local supermarkets, Chemist, banks and Cinema and offering a large range of restaurants and hotels for evening meals. The Laratinga Wetlands also has lovely walking trails, bike tracks and amazing birdlife, and is just down the road with BBQ’s and picnic spots. Or if you enjoy a trek up the Mt Barker Summit for some bush walking and spectacular views. Take an afternoon or day trip on the “Steamranger” from Mt Barker to Victor Harbor, Goolwa or the Bugle Ranges. We have Ukaria Cultural centre/Ngeringa winery close by and Howard’s Vinyard within easy reach (6kms away) or McLaren Vale, Strathalbyn and Langhorne Creek are all an easy drive away with some lovely wineries to check out. 10-15 minutes drive to the infamous Historic Hahndorf. Beerenberg farm and the Heysen Trail. Monarto Zoo is Australia's largest open free range zoo and is only 30 minutes drive.
