LOCATION: This was fantastic, everything you need is in walking distance or a very cheap grab away. DORM: I had a bottom bunk on the first floor of rooms and it was amazing. It even had a window which was a pleasant surprise as most hostels I've stayed in don't have windows, or there is just one at the end of the room, but having my own window was good because I enjoy having the natural light. STAFF: At any time of the day they are always there and happy to help with any questions. They are very well spoken and knowledgeable which made planning future day trips + the Ha Giang Loop very simple. HA GIANG LOOP: Going on from my previous point, booking the Ha Giang Loop four day tour with this hostel was the perfect decision. The booking was roughly $350 AUD for 4d3n which included all meals on the loop, transport to and from Ha Giang City, and an awesome easy rider. I had Ha Van Tho (Thomas) as my driver who is seriously one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. Even at our overnight accommodation along the loop (all included in the cost) he would spend time and hang out with me and it was awesome to really connect with him and the other drivers to learn more about the local culture and way of life. HOSTEL FACILITIES: No complaints with the toilets/showers. Definitely above the expected standard for a hostel, I never felt uncomfortable and the staff take cleanliness and hygiene very seriously. SUMMARY: You can't go wrong with staying here on your visit to Hanoi. Whether you are looking for a reliable hostel to provide you plentiful options for the Ha Giang Loop, or you simply just need a comfortable and affordable stay in Hanoi, this is the place to go. If I ever visit Hanoi again I will without a doubt be staying here.

The location is excelent, right next to the old quarter. The room was nice, and the toilet was big and clean. The breakfast was very good, with many things. They give you information for a lot of tours, that you can book with them.

Set a 2-minute walk from Old City Gate in Hoan Kiem district, Little Charm Hanoi Hostel - Homestay offers elegant accommodation and an Italian-style restaurant on site. I loved everything. The rooms were quiet, the bathrooms were clean. Superb!

Set in the historical Old Quarter of Hanoi, Hanoi City Backpackers Hostel offers accommodations combined with warm hospitality in a quiet location. Free WiFi is available in rooms. Nice staff. Bunk bed with curtains and big locker! (My bag is 64 lts). Even before I arrived staff was nice, always replying my messages fast and clear. I arrived almost 12 am because my bus was late and my booking was respected. Check in was easy and fast. Perfect because I was very tired and wanted to sleep soon. In the morning breakfast was served on time and good quantity. I recommend! :)

The sheets were crisp and fresh. The location is perfect. There are curtains for privacy, and reading lights. The staff were super nice too! They helped me extend my stay but were very gracious when I had a change of plan. They kept my luggage safe. The boy at the reception super helpfully helped me retrieve something I had forgotten the day after I checked out. The lady at the reception kept my mail safe for me. All in all probably the best hostel I've stayed at!
