Loved the cats, cannot express enough how amazing they were. The staff were so accommodating and even helped organise a cake for our friend’s bday. Loved our stay and they also had great food and vibes.

SECRET GARDEN CAT BA has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and restaurant in Cat Ba. The facilities are beyond expectation for 6$/night hostel. Decent western food with some twist of local flavor Chill vibes

Very nice hostel, owner is super kind. Facilities are good, you even receive a towel and there is soap in the shower. And over all, it is cheap and you got a nice breakfast! Thank you for this very nice stay!

Located within 1.2 km of Bai Chay Beach and 200 metres of Ha Long Queen Cable Car, Alex Hostel provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ha Long. The staff were amazing!! We really couldn’t of asked for anything more, we arrived late (early hours in the morning), and the key was left on the desk for us to let ourselves into our room. We were given the choice of which room we’d like to stay in too. Breakfast was amazing, we were even treated to extra fruit! We were helped out with booking a boat tour, and the owner even got us some dinner before we caught our night bus, as we were going to be short on time to have a shower and get food after our tour. We cannot recommend this hostel enough in Halong!

Situato sulla splendida Isola di Cat Ba nella Baia di Lan Ha, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal mercato di Cat Ba e a pochi passi dal terminal dei traghetti, il The Oversleep Catba Hostel offre camere con... This was probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during three months travelling in the region. It’s very new so everything is in perfect condition, but it’s also all very well thought out. Plenty of storage space in the dorms, nice warm reading lights and good thick curtains around the beds to block out light. Bathrooms are great - very clean, with nice, powerful (and hot if you want) showers. The staff are also wonderful. Toby at the front desk is smiley, warm and always happy to help. Pa Pa in the restaurant/bar is such a beautiful soul and made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the room. The rest of the staff whose names I sadly don’t know made our stay that much better - always smiling and making us feel like we were staying in more than “just” a hostel. Thank you Toby, Pa Pa and everyone else in the team for everything you do!

Situato a Cat Ba, a 1,1 km dalla spiaggia di Tung Thu, il Catba Pod Hostel offre il servizio concierge, camere non fumatori, un bar, la connessione WiFi gratuita in tutte le aree e un salone in... The receptionist Vu was absolutely amazing. He helped us organise a boat trip with kayaking and swimming, as well as recommending the nearby beach and a scenic route. We were only there for 2 days and 1 night and had to cut the second day short because of a storm warning. We would not have been able to maximise our time on Cat Ba without Vu! The hostel was also very comfortable, the loveliest staff at the downstairs restaurant, and would definitely recommend their mango smoothie, you will not regret it! There is also a rooftop bar with a great view of the harbour, where locals sometimes set off fireworks.

Il ristorante dell'ostello è in assoluto il migliore della città!
