Loved the cats, cannot express enough how amazing they were. The staff were so accommodating and even helped organise a cake for our friend’s bday. Loved our stay and they also had great food and vibes.

Facilities are good, you even receive a towel and there is soap in the shower. And over all, it is cheap and you got a nice breakfast! Thank you for this very nice stay!

Menawarkan kamar ber-AC di wilayah Bai Chay di Ha Long, Alex Hostel berjarak 14 menit jalan kaki dari Pantai Bai Chay. The staff were amazing!! We really couldn’t of asked for anything more, we arrived late (early hours in the morning), and the key was left on the desk for us to let ourselves into our room. We were given the choice of which room we’d like to stay in too. Breakfast was amazing, we were even treated to extra fruit! We were helped out with booking a boat tour, and the owner even got us some dinner before we caught our night bus, as we were going to be short on time to have a shower and get food after our tour. We cannot recommend this hostel enough in Halong!

The Oversleep Catba Hostel terletak di Pulau Cat Ba yang indah, di sepanjang Teluk Lan Ha, hanya 10 menit berjalan kaki dari Pasar Cat Ba dan beberapa langkah dari terminal feri. This was probably the best hostel we’ve stayed in during three months travelling in the region. It’s very new so everything is in perfect condition, but it’s also all very well thought out. Plenty of storage space in the dorms, nice warm reading lights and good thick curtains around the beds to block out light. Bathrooms are great - very clean, with nice, powerful (and hot if you want) showers. The staff are also wonderful. Toby at the front desk is smiley, warm and always happy to help. Pa Pa in the restaurant/bar is such a beautiful soul and made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the room. The rest of the staff whose names I sadly don’t know made our stay that much better - always smiling and making us feel like we were staying in more than “just” a hostel. Thank you Toby, Pa Pa and everyone else in the team for everything you do!
