Very safe at night - and the hostel is located in a beautiful historic building, formerly the early 20th century luxury "Hotel Artigas". 24 hour reception , kitchen, common room as well as a quiet room upstairs for laptop working

Located 100 metres from Montevideo’s financial area, Montevideo Chic Hostel offers free Wi-Fi and BBQ facilities. The people that worked there were all very nice and helpful. The building itself is just really cool with very high ceilings. It feels very reagal but at the same time cozy. You can use the washing machines for free and everything is very clean and tidy!
