Set in Montevideo and with Ramirez reachable within less than 1 km, Youki Haus Hostel offers a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. It was my first hostel stay in 20 years and it warmed to the idea of doing it again. Great staff. Friendly environment, Nice facilities. Location right in the middle of a restaurant and bar area. Couldn't ask for more

Since April 1st we moved to a new, more modern, 6-story building located in the Old City, close to the main tourist attractions of the city. Best location in Montevideo. Right opposite a street with bars, one block either way to the two main squares of the old town. Very safe at night - and the hostel is located in a beautiful historic building, formerly the early 20th century luxury "Hotel Artigas". 24 hour reception , kitchen, common room as well as a quiet room upstairs for laptop working

Conveniently located in Ciudad Vieja, the old city, the original settlement, it offers plenty of places to walk, ride a bike, and historic museums and monuments, also many nearby stores, convenient stores and parking lots. It offers the casual traveler, the tourist or digital nomads a place to stay at affordable prices.
