Facing the beachfront, Samesun Ocean Beach offers 2-star accommodation in San Diego and features a shared lounge and terrace. I’m usually too lazy to leave reviews but I have to for samesun. I was expecting a filthy smelly dorm with sticky floor but the hostel is surprisingly clean!! the staff are super helpful, the location is 5min walk to the beach and they provide breakfast with waffle/pancakes/fruits!! definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed, strongly recommend.

The location is very close to restaurant and CVS. The parking is behind the building. CCTV around. easy to park. Room is big. I upgraded to stay at a sharing bunkbed room privately. furniture is clean and cozy. with some age and well use doesn't effect its comfortness. The receptionist is super nice and knowledgeable. Lots of information provided at the hostel even with shuttle bus schedule to various attractions and airport. I feel safe staying at the hostel too.
