This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in! Really nice capsule style bunks. The beds were completely enclosed so it was quiet and private. New and clean bathrooms and common areas. The location is also great! You can walk to the lake, shopping street, boat, and ropeway station.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in Taiwan. The rooms are very clean and the equipment is very new. The hostel is diligent in updating the equipment. The sockets are of international voltage. It is recommended to anyone visiting Sun Moon Lake.

MILU Backpacker Hostel is located in Puli. Among the facilities at this property are a shared lounge and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Great hostel really close the bus station !! Dorms are comfortable, wifi's perfect, toilets are clean and convenient. There's a kitchen where you can cook whatever you like. Tony, the owner, is such an sweet guy. We couldn't communicate a lot due to language barrier but still, I could feel that he was genuinely kind. He took me along on a cross-country trail even though I hadn't planned to and it was an amazing experience. We spent the day on motorbikes, driving through the mountains and rivers. Lunch was good and we even had a snack after that near the river where we meet great people !! I can only recommend spending a few nights in this hostel (I stayed 3 in total), you'll have a great time :))

Centrally located in Puli, Islet Inn is a 20-minute drive from Sun Moon Lake. This bicycle-friendly property offers cosy air-conditioned accommodation with a TV and private bathroom. Very nice place, good style and welcoming. Nice room. We are cycling around the island and stayed here 1 night when passing through Puli, would stay here again. Shower was warm after a hard day's ride, AC was cool. Staff was friendly and the price was a good value. I loved the paintings in our room and also around the inn.
