I like how high-tech everything is, the machine check in, the keycard bunks, Japan-esque toilets. I particularly liked that you need your own keycard to enter the bunk because this meant it was safe enough to leave my things while I go to the toilet or shower without worrying about someone stealing it. Upper bunks were high up, but it also meant high ceilings. Clean bathrooms and beds. Super near the bus stop, Ita Thao market, and convenience stores nearby.

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in Taiwan. The rooms are very clean and the equipment is very new. The hostel is diligent in updating the equipment. The sockets are of international voltage. It is recommended to anyone visiting Sun Moon Lake.

Great hostel really close the bus station !! Dorms are comfortable, wifi's perfect, toilets are clean and convenient. There's a kitchen where you can cook whatever you like. Tony, the owner, is such an sweet guy. We couldn't communicate a lot due to language barrier but still, I could feel that he was genuinely kind. He took me along on a cross-country trail even though I hadn't planned to and it was an amazing experience. We spent the day on motorbikes, driving through the mountains and rivers. Lunch was good and we even had a snack after that near the river where we meet great people !! I can only recommend spending a few nights in this hostel (I stayed 3 in total), you'll have a great time :))

Very nice place, good style and welcoming. Nice room. We are cycling around the island and stayed here 1 night when passing through Puli, would stay here again. Shower was warm after a hard day's ride, AC was cool. Staff was friendly and the price was a good value. I loved the paintings in our room and also around the inn.
