The vibe at this hostel is exactly what you would expect from the name. It's a wonderfully chill place to be and I really enjoyed my time there. The staff is so helpful and helped me organize several things and it was a good hostel to meet other travelers and hang out. Also, it's nice that they had a big kitchen for guests to use. The dorm had good AC, comfortable beds and lockers and the bathrooms were clean and spacious with good hot water showers. The hostel is a bit far from town, but it's overall a great place to stay and I definitely recommend it!

They prepared me a sandwich on my leaving as I left before breakfast. Do I have to say anything else? Well, no, but I will: The view is amazing, the prices in the restaurant are reasonable, great guys gather there, so the atmosphere is fine as well! I can highly recommend the place!

Shantihome is located centrally in Izmir’s Alsancak District offering numerous opportunities for shopping, sightseeing and dining. It offers colourful room and free WiFi throughout the premises. The staff was extremely helpful, nice and welcoming. The lounge area where breakfast is served is nice and cozy in the evening to play board games or just chat.
