A really great hotel with helpful staff in the middle of Loriga surrounded by beautiful scenery! The room was perfect, very large and with enough storage space for all our belongings. The hotel has a lovely kitchen where you can prepare food and it is always kept extremely clean. You can either eat food in the kitchen at the dining table or go to the terrace which is great if the weather permits. The breakfast they provide was also great value.

Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. They upgraded me for free to a double room with own bathroom. The room was very cozy. Highly recommended if you want to go for some hikes.

Objekat Covilhã Hostel je smešten u gradu Kovilja, na 18 km od znamenitosti Park prirode Serra da Estrela, a u ponudi ima nepušačke smeštajne jedinice, zajednički salon, besplatan WiFi u celom objektu... good value for money, definitely the cheapest option on offer when I visited. it’s a family run building, and Joao was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station with his car! it’s conveniently located, you can walk everywhere, nice view of the city from my room, a big kitchen to cook meals and decent bathroom. Cozy room with lots of natural lights, mattress is not the best but the towels were the softest :)
