Located in Ponta Delgada, Santa Alegria Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The check-in was very practical and easy. The room really amazed us: beautifully decorated, very clean and modern. We loved the welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the big shower. The hostel downstairs living room with kitchen and the patio created the perfect environment to hang out with other guests and to share some nice moments. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was very good. The Santa Alegria Hostel team was always available, they were very kind and helpful and made our vacation in S. Miguel Island even more perfect. Thank you Inês and Candido, you made us feel like home and we hope to visit you again!

Very clean room, location in the center of Ponta Delgada, which was very convenient, and parking was available around the block (payment needed, though). The staff was very polite and helpful!

Not only it's clean, it's spacious, it feels like home, and the owner is adorable (just 3 words: fresh homemade cake every morning!), but everything you always thought "would be nice if..." has already been thought and put there for you. A nice full kitchen? YES. A comfortable shelf and bag where to put your things while in bed (with curtains obviously)? YES. Washing machine and place to hang your clothes? YES. And so much more :)

Located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao, THE HOLY COW - Hostel & Suites provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Excellent accommodation. We had the private room with bathroom. Very clean and comfortable with access to a kitchen and common area. Breakfast everyday at 8am. We had a rental car and manged to park outside for free relatively easily. Obviously not as convenient as having own private parking, but very doable. Very close to downtown Ponta Delgada. The host was extremely helpful and gave us very useful tips. Would 100% recommend.

The only hostel I have seen that has two private shower for each room. Excellent garden in the back . Very large living room and two blocks from the ocean. The price is also great for what you get. Very modern.
