The beds are done daily and they are really comfortable They organize group Tours and that's a nice way to get a view of the island and meet fellow travelers. The room really amazed us: beautifully decorated, very clean and modern. We loved the welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the big shower. The hostel downstairs living room with kitchen and the patio created the perfect environment to hang out with other guests and to share some nice moments. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was very good. The Santa Alegria Hostel team was always available, they were very kind and helpful and made our vacation in S. Miguel Island even more perfect. Thank you Inês and Candido, you made us feel like home and we hope to visit you again!

Not only it's clean, it's spacious, it feels like home, and the owner is adorable (just 3 words: fresh homemade cake every morning!), but everything you always thought "would be nice if..." has already been thought and put there for you. A nice full kitchen? YES. A comfortable shelf and bag where to put your things while in bed (with curtains obviously)? YES. Washing machine and place to hang your clothes? YES. And so much more :)

Excellent accommodation. We had the private room with bathroom. Very clean and comfortable with access to a kitchen and common area. Breakfast everyday at 8am. We had a rental car and manged to park outside for free relatively easily. Obviously not as convenient as having own private parking, but very doable. Very close to downtown Ponta Delgada. The host was extremely helpful and gave us very useful tips. Would 100% recommend.
