Situated in Pinhão, Hostel Douro Backpackers has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a barbecue.... From the moment we arrived in Pinhão Pedro and Sarah made us feel so welcome! Pedro greeted us on our walk to the hostel without even knowing in advance who we were, it was amazing! 😄 Sarah was so welcoming introducing us to fellow guests and offering us a drink immediately upon our arrival and was so incredibly kind walking through all the wonderful sites and hikes the Douro has to offer! All of her recommendations were perfect and made for such an effortless and enjoyable visit. We ate (and drank 😉) well in Pinhão. The room was cozy and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were pristine. The kitchen was as perfectly equipped. The rooftop patio and terraced gardens were lovely and provided fantastic views of the beautiful vineyard landscape and mountains. Staying with Pedro and Sarah at Hostel Douro Backpackers was a highlight off our trip to Portugal and definitely one of the best lodging experiences we’ve had in all our travels!

Situated in Lamego and with Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary reachable within 1.4 km, Host'olaria features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. everything seemed new. The kitchen area was very well organized and everything was clean. Shower was one of the very best showers, hot water and you had room to move. 

Douro Village features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Vila Real. The property is around 13 km from Natur Waterpark, 25 km from Douro Museum and 36 km from Our Lady of Remedies... beautiful vintage house magnificently presented.

Located in a refurbished building featuring a summer terrace, Pousada de Juventude de Alijó features free WiFi access and a games room. The hostel provides private and shared accommodation. Great location, great value for money. Clean efficient rooms. Friendly staff

Out of Town features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Castelo de Paiva. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Beautiful place in the nature, wonderful views and the swimming pool. The hosts are extremely nice and acommodating. It was our second time here, and we hope to come back. Highly recommended.

This Pousada de Juventude is located in Vila Nova de Foz Côa. It is 4 km from the Côa Valley Archeological Park, where visitors may observe cave paintings from from several thousand years ago. Impressive and generous breakfast Super kind staff (drove me to local clinic when l was sick, helped me order taxi etc)
