The beds are done daily and they are really comfortable They organize group Tours and that's a nice way to get a view of the island and meet fellow travelers. Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. Stephen and pedro are amazing hosts for a hostel. The experience of one big happy family of travelers. Especially on my first solo trip I was welcomed with open arms, good suggestions for what to do and a very nice hostel dinner/breakfast

Located in Ponta Delgada, Santa Alegria Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. The check-in was very practical and easy. The room really amazed us: beautifully decorated, very clean and modern. We loved the welcome gifts. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the big shower. The hostel downstairs living room with kitchen and the patio created the perfect environment to hang out with other guests and to share some nice moments. The kitchen was very well equipped and the breakfast was very good. The Santa Alegria Hostel team was always available, they were very kind and helpful and made our vacation in S. Miguel Island even more perfect. Thank you Inês and Candido, you made us feel like home and we hope to visit you again!

Absolutely lovely hostel, probably one of the best I've ever stayed at! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. I loved everything about this place.

Everything about this trip met and exceeded expectations. The staff was extraordinarily helpful with everything from suggestions to directions and was extremely accommodating during the duration of the stay. Very much looking forward to visiting again!

Very clean room, location in the center of Ponta Delgada, which was very convenient, and parking was available around the block (payment needed, though). The staff was very polite and helpful!
