We had the private rooms so can’t comment on the dormitory. Private rooms were large, air conditioned and quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and welcoming common areas.

Featuring a garden, ALTHEA BIRDS NEST INN is located in Moalboal in the Visayas region, 24 km from Kawasan Falls and 19 km from Santo Nino Church. Clean and big room, comfy bed, hot shower, fridge, balcony to enjoy breakfast with the mountain view, good WiFi, very nice staff and very quiet location. It's still a new hotel, so there's still some work in progress, but it won't affect your stay. You can also rent a scooter here. 100% recommended, and I'll come back if I'll stay in Moalboal again.

MAAYONG HOSTEL is a quiet and chill hostel in Panagsama road in barangay Basdiot, ideally located 250 meters from Panagsama Beach & the famous sardine run and 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants... I love it! Room is excellent, good size and spacious between beds. Bathroom is inside the room and has 2 toilets, 2 showers, 2 sinks all separate. Common are is very nice as well, good place for working if needed. I also woke up very early and could do some yoga there. All good, specially the comfort of the bedroom, there was not 6 ppl when I stayed there. To finish, I have extended my stay.

While the location could’ve been better, the fact that the property is quite far from main roads helps ensure the quietness and full relaxation of the guests.
