Extremely good value for money, basic but wouldn’t need anything more! Garden is super beautiful and the staff very friendly. Nice hot shower, tv with Netflix good for rainy days and a little kitchenette. Very clean and the most peaceful sleep in the Philippines (no chickens!!)

Riu del Mar Hostel is situated in Dauis, 5.8 km from Hinagdanan Cave and 40 km from Tarsier Conservation Area. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Very nice people who are super friendly and always ready to look after their guests needs. The hostel is in a beautiful location by the ocean river, quiet and serene, surrounded by nature.You can swim and kayak in the river. I love that the beds are super comfortable and also each bed has shelves for your belongings, your own sockets, reading light, and fan as well as curtains to allow you privacy in a dorm setup. Kitchen is well equipped and more than usable. Free coffee and water all day. Highly recommended for digital nomads like me!

Located in Batuan, within 15 km of Tarsier Conservation Area and 33 km of Chocolate Hills, Chloe’s Paradise Hostel provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as... I was at chloe's for two night. It was a very nice stay. It is possible to eat phillipine food at chloe's which was very delicious. Also there is free coffe. The hut is basic and there is shared bathrooms and toilets which are very clean. The location is perfect to see the sunrise at chocolate hills BEFORE THE CROWD !! I was there with 4 others. If you want to expirience the real philippines thats the place you want to be. To the beach it is a bit far but there is more to explore than just a white beach ;) And don't miss a good chat with the people there if you want to learn more about philippines.
