Will stay again next time if I come back for more hikes

We loved staying here so much - excellent value, central location, comfy beds and hot showers! But the best thing about our stay l were the owners of the hotel, who were so wonderful and friendly, helped us when we were struggling with altitude sickness and really went above and beyond to make our time in Huaraz amazing. Thank you so much :)

Το Montañero Hostel II είναι σε Huaraz, Ancash, σε απόσταση 1,6 χλμ από Στάδιο Rosas Pampa. We where able to check straight in at 7am when we arrived off an overnight bus! and on the day we where leaving we had a 10pm night bus and we where allowed to have the room up to 3pm with no hesitation or extra charge!! We also planned hikes through the owners.

Το El Amauta de los Andes Lodging Erik House, που διαθέτει βεράντα, βρίσκεται στον προορισμό Huaraz, Ancash, και απέχει 1,9 χλμ από Στάδιο Rosas Pampa. Don’t book anywhere else! The room was great, clean and spacious. Erik our host was absolutely incredible; he picked us up from the bus station and was always available to answer questions about hikes (as he is a guide). He showed us around the city, took us to the mirador and we even did laguna 69 with him and his family. And when our bus to Lima was canceled, he truly saved us by arranging a colectivo and giving directions on how to get to Lima before our flight. A simple breakfast was provided most days and when we left too early we asked for some bread the night before to take with us. The shower was decent, hot with good pressure except for one day. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. Overall, for the price and the incredible hospitality of Erik, it’s one of the best places we have stayed.

Everything was clean and new, nothing felt grotty and dirty like some hostels. Room was spacious and comfortable and outside space was very relaxing. Staff were friendly and accommodated our vegan diet for breakfast.
