Martien, the temporary owner, is very welcoming and friendly guy and he did everything he could to give us a good time at the hostel.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of mountain, Muyakuelap Eco house & Ecolife is set in Nuevo Tingo, 25 km from Kuelap. JJ is an excellent host and made our stay memorable. He showed us around in town, shared some hikes with us, created a really nice breakfast and he even joined us to hike to Kuélap. It was great we could use the fresh organic herbs in the garden and use the rice cooker. The beds were super comfy and the shared bathroom (that was basically private as there were nog other guests) was always clean.

Really nice place to stay. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel has a lot of community rooms where to hang out and relax. The area is quiet and shops are close. Very good time with a lot of nice travellers I met there!
