Situated in Onetangi, 300 metres from Onetangi Beach, Waiheke Backpackers Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Pitkä hieno hiekkaranta n 300m päässä johon näkymät ylhäältä kukkulalta. Henkilökunta ja sosiaaliset aktiiviset Ihmiset. Vaatimattomat huoneet, yhteisvessat yhteiskeittiöt, mutta kaikki toimi leppoisan mukavasti. Minulla oli hieman turha ennakkokäsitys reppumatkaajien majoituspaijasta, mutta olin väärässä. Wai-knot Accommodation offers both boutique caravans or private bedrooms in the main building. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. The caravans have their own outdoor area and refrigerator. It’s interesting that this: “Bonus question - What was the main method of transport you used to reach this destination city?” - is a “survey” question I am being asked when there are no cities on Waiheke; and furthermore I used I used an airplane, an Uber, a ferry, a taxi, and a rental e-bike all in the span of 24 hours to arrive! And I LOVED it! I had some cell phone SIM card problems (my own mistakes), but there was good WiFi on the property and the people on premises were so kind and Although I had rented an e-bike to get myself back and forth to the Beach and beyond (traveling solo), I found the walk to the beach my first day, a lovely and not too difficult 15 minute walk!

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Hekerua Lodge Backpackers Hostel Waiheke Island is located in Oneroa, 600 metres from Little Oneroa Beach and 800 metres from Oneroa Beach. Such a lush hostel. Everyone was super welcoming, feels like a home. Only stayed for 2 nights and was really sad to leave. Party vibes were great, facilities were fab- such a vibe there you don’t even feel like you need to visit anywhere else on the island
