Thomas and Tracy are great people. They help you with whatever you need and they welcome you warmly in their place. It was really easy to book shuttle and carparking for Tongariro with them. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and homey. You can play a lot of games at lobby and watch netflix. This was highlight of staying in NZ, lovely place with lovely people :)

Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge & Cafe is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It features a sauna, hot tubs and an on-site cafe. Insane value for your money. Had the twin room with bathroom. Cute kitchenette included, good beds, warm. Free parking included. The Café downstairs has fair prices for what you can get and the personnel is super friendly. We Germans don't say "Amazing!" very often, but when we do, we mean it. Cheers and thanks for having us.

Staff were great - so welcoming and helpful! Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of kitchen space. Good value for money. Drying/boiler room was SO useful. Conveniently located to get shuttle for walks in Tongariro.

Located in Erua, within 21 km of Mount Ruapehu and 22 km of Taranaki Falls, The Crossing Lodge & Backpackers provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well... The general atmospehre of the place. The hidden TV room was a really good suprise!

Located in Raurimu, 21 km from Mount Ruapehu, Slalom Lodge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Receptionist was very kind. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is nice big and clean.
