Located in Otira, 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Rata Lodge Accommodation provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The bedroom was so cozy with extra blankets, humidifier and heaters. Very homey.

Oxford Queenette Backpackers offers renovated hotel acommodation right in the Oxford town centre, opposite the Town Hall and behind the Queenette Dairy shop. Sweet, friendly, and very helpful owner. Comfortable, clean, quiet, with great kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Set in Marahau, 300 metres from Marahau Beach, Adventure Inn Marahau offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Great vibes. Lots to do. People running it were friendly and helpful. Live music some nights. Burgers some nights.

Beautiful plants all over the place , comfortable sofas in the living room , clean and tidy rooms , amazing location 5 minutes from penguin watching spot and the beach . Well equipped kitchen . Nice self grown veggies at the back . Beautiful view through the windows. We chose the spot the stop for 1 night on the way from Christchurch to Te Anau and it was perfect. Place was tidy and clean .

Just a short walk to the beach, Old Bones Lodge is located in Oamaru. The accommodation offers a spa and wellness centre, library and terrace. Free WiFi access is available. The views from the common room were amazing and the fire place created a comfy atmosphere. My only regret is that we did not stay an extra night. Hope to be back one day!

Haka House Lake Tekapo features accommodation in Lake Tekapo. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Fabulous location and views over the lake. Very clean with great amenities- most things very well functioning ( no TV at the time but that’s ok). Bathroom clean and worked well.
