Lakes Edge Lodge is just a 3-minute drive from Lake Tekapo town centre. A free shuttle service is available to and from Lake Tekapo bus terminal. The location was perfect, from the lounge area you can see the lake.

Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook er staðsett í Suður-Ölpunum, 200 metrum frá Sir Edmund Hillary-alpamiðstöðinni og býður upp á útsýni yfir Mount Cook. Has a sauna, they also provide shampoo, conditioner etc. and the common areas are really nice and comfy

Merino-stöðin er um 30.000 ekrur að stærð og er staðsett við Ahuriri-ána, í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá miðbæ Omarama. It’s the best deal you’ll find anywhere. Very basic and rustic but Comfortable and clean and does the job. Excellent wifi connection despite being in the middle of nowhere. A great hopping off point for day trips to lakes. Amazing star gazing at night!

Stay In er staðsett í Tekapo-vatni, 45 km frá Mt. Dobson-fjallgöngufjallinu Tekapo Backpackers er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu og grillaðstöðu ásamt ókeypis WiFi. Location was literally perfect being right next to Lake Tekapo and the Dark Sky Reserve office, which is the entire reason I stayed here. The rooms are quite big with enough space for beds, everyone's belongings, and people, so I never felt stuffy or cramped. The only thing is that be careful to time your showers because the bathrooms can get pretty full between 7-9 waiting for folks to shower. Overall GREAT value and I would stay here again. Check-in office was slightly unclear, but to reduce confusion, walk through the parking lot, there is a big building on your left and two building on the right after the parking lot. Tekapo Backpackers is the righ hand side building closest to The Greedy Cow and the check-in office is by the wooden gate to the LEFT of the actual Tekapo Backpackers building.
