Rotorua is 700 metres from the hostel, while Papamoa is 49 km from the property. Rotorua Regional Airport is 6 km away. The hostel is in a very convenient location just a few block from the bus station. I liked the beds as they are on the floor, no top bunks. The room is very spacious with lots of windows for goo ventilation. There is a large well equipped kitchen and a laundry room on site. As with all hostels I stayed in while in New Zealand, nothing is complimentary. No coffee, sugar, soap powder, towel or anything. You will pay a premium for any of these items.

Accommodation includes private rooms or dormitory-style rooms. All are heated and have linen provided. The private rooms offer fans and a desk. All have access to shared bathroom facilities. What an amazing place! Clean, friendly staff (the receptionist even helped me carry some of my baggage upstairs), and free coffee and tea in the kitchen. The couches in the living room are soooo comfy.

The privacy curtains were great, and the beds were cozy. There have two lockers for each person. The kitchen is open late, and their setup makes cleanup easy.
