This hostel is definitely one of the best I've tried in a year in New Zealand! The atmosphere there is great. The staff is incredible, they put a lot of effort in the cleaning which makes the hostel super comfortable to live in. My room was big (dorm of 4), though the 2-beds dorms are quite small though. All of them have windows. Showers are huge with high pressure. It's on top of a beautiful hill, next to the most beautiful beach on the island... If you wanna play it chill for a few days, this is the hostel for you!

Wai-knot Accommodation offers both boutique caravans or private bedrooms in the main building. Free WiFi and free parking are provided. The caravans have their own outdoor area and refrigerator. It’s interesting that this: “Bonus question - What was the main method of transport you used to reach this destination city?” - is a “survey” question I am being asked when there are no cities on Waiheke; and furthermore I used I used an airplane, an Uber, a ferry, a taxi, and a rental e-bike all in the span of 24 hours to arrive! And I LOVED it! I had some cell phone SIM card problems (my own mistakes), but there was good WiFi on the property and the people on premises were so kind and Although I had rented an e-bike to get myself back and forth to the Beach and beyond (traveling solo), I found the walk to the beach my first day, a lovely and not too difficult 15 minute walk!

Featuring a TV lounge and a communal kitchen, Haka House Auckland City is just 10 minutes’ walk from the famous Sky Tower. Very friendly and helpful staff! Thank you for your best energy and kindness!

All the facilities were available. They had a common kitchen and dining area. They had a separate leisure area at the 3rd floor which had a theatre setup and quiet room and a nice balcony for fresh air. The most important is the close proximity to everything in the CBD. The team were helpful and friendly.
