This hostel is definitely one of the best I've tried in a year in New Zealand! The atmosphere there is great. The staff is incredible, they put a lot of effort in the cleaning which makes the hostel super comfortable to live in. My room was big (dorm of 4), though the 2-beds dorms are quite small though. All of them have windows. Showers are huge with high pressure. It's on top of a beautiful hill, next to the most beautiful beach on the island... If you wanna play it chill for a few days, this is the hostel for you!

And I LOVED it! I had some cell phone SIM card problems (my own mistakes), but there was good WiFi on the property and the people on premises were so kind and Although I had rented an e-bike to get myself back and forth to the Beach and beyond (traveling solo), I found the walk to the beach my first day, a lovely and not too difficult 15 minute walk!

They had a separate leisure area at the 3rd floor which had a theatre setup and quiet room and a nice balcony for fresh air. The most important is the close proximity to everything in the CBD. The team were helpful and friendly.
