The place was wonderful- very clean, organized, the kitchen had everything you need, and sparky clean. Rooms and washrooms were very clean. They also allow you to store luggage before and after your stay.

On Lofoten’s rugged coastline just 400 metres from the centre of Kabelvåg fishing village, this hostel has a sauna, BBQ area, laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi. A breakfast buffet is included. The room was clean, quiet & view was wonderful. The breakfast provided was excellent with many choices. I would recommend this as a return to place to stay.

Very neat, nice place, all clean, centrally located in Leknes with all you need around. Free laundry room, hot shower and cosy kitchen with a common area with sofas is really all we dreamt of after our long hiking trip. Comfortable bed, tight curtains (it's polar day in summer), easy check-in and check-out and plus kind of home feeling, we were very happy and comfortable there on our last day.

Arrived with the ferry from Bodø to Moskenes and decided to stay in Å for the night to start our Lofoten trip at the southern point. Authentic old rorbu house in the middle of Å. We were skeptical towards shared bathrooms but were pleasantly surprised. They were very clean. In fact, the one we used as a family has not been used, and the facility was fully booked. It is very nice to have a mutual understanding and respect of spaces when shared with others. We got to see the catch of the day from a group that just returned from a fishing trip, which was very exciting for our little one. See fish being gutted, seagulls swarming the area, and crabs fighting on the ocean bed below in the crystal clear water. The room was spacious and had a sink, which was a plus, so one could wash their face and brush teeth in the morning.

This is a former school dormitory converted into a hotel. We had a wonderful stay; the room was spacious and comfortable, and the host warmly welcomed us with great flexibility and recommendations for exploring the area.
