Accomodation is provided in Mongolian style yurt tents. Hardanger Fjord is only 70 metres away. Additional services on site include free WiFi, free parking and a restaurant. We stayed in a yurt for two nights. The interior was extremely cosy and everything was lovingly decorated. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain during our stay so we could not do too many activities outside. Instead we taught the kids how to make a fire, we had excellent camp meals and at night cuddled in the (heated) yurts with our fluffy blankets. Pancake breakfast was an extraordinary experience in the little café, especially for the children. Overall highly recommended.

This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. Beautiful spot in the lake with mountains all around. Short 12 minute walk from the station and 20 into town for groceries etc.
